1NR-FE EMISSION CONTROL: PURGE VALVE: INSPECTION

1. INSPECT DUTY VACUUM SWITCHING VALVE

(a) Check the resistance.

(1) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

If the result is not as specified, replace the duty vacuum switching valve.

(b) Check the operation.

(1) Check that air does not flow from port E to port F.

(2) Apply battery voltage across the terminals to check that air flows from port E to port F.
