Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes

METER / GAUGE / DISPLAY: METER / GAUGE SYSTEM: DTC CHECK / CLEAR

1. CHECK DTC

(a) Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.

(b) Turn the ignition switch to ON.

(c) Turn the Techstream on.

(d) Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / (desired system) / DTC.

(e) Check DTCs and then write them down.

(f) Confirm the details of the DTCs.

2. CLEAR DTC

(a) Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.

(b) Turn the ignition switch to ON (do not start the engine).

(c) Turn the Techstream on.

(d) Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / (desired system) / DTC / Clear.

(e) Clear DTCs by pressing the YES button on the Techstream.
