Removal





HEATING / AIR CONDITIONING: COMPRESSOR: REMOVAL

1. RECOVER REFRIGERANT FROM REFRIGERATION SYSTEM Service and Repair

2. REMOVE V (COOLER COMPRESSOR TO CRANKSHAFT PULLEY) BELT NO. 1

Removal

3. REMOVE FRONT FRAME ASSEMBLY

Removal

4. DISCONNECT DISCHARGE HOSE SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Remove the discharge hose bracket installing bolt.

(b) Remove the bolt and disconnect the discharge hose from the compressor.





(c) Remove the O-ring from the discharge hose.

NOTICE:
Seal the openings of the disconnected parts using vinyl tape to prevent the entry of moisture and foreign matter.

5. DISCONNECT SUCTION HOSE SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Remove the bolt and disconnect the suction hose from the compressor.





(b) Remove the O-ring from the suction hose.

NOTICE:
Seal the openings of the disconnected parts using vinyl tape to prevent the entry of moisture and foreign matter.

6. REMOVE COOLER COMPRESSOR ASSEMBLY

(a) Remove the 2 bolts and the 2 nuts.





(b) Using an E8 "TORX" socket wrench, remove the 2 stud bolts and the compressor.
