Installation
BRAKE CONTROL / DYNAMIC CONTROL SYSTEMS: BRAKE ACTUATOR: INSTALLATION
1. INSTALL BRAKE ACTUATOR BRACKET ASSEMBLY
(a) Install the brake actuator to the brake actuator bracket assembly with the 3 bolts.
Torque : 5.4 Nm (55 kgf-cm, 48 in-lbf)
NOTICE:
* Do not remove the hole plugs before installing a new brake actuator because the brake actuator is filled with brake fluid.
* Do not carry the brake actuator by the connector.
* Tighten the 3 bolts in the order shown in the illustration.
2. INSTALL BRAKE ACTUATOR WITH BRACKET
(a) Install the brake actuator with bracket to the body with the 3 bolts.
Torque : 19 Nm (194 kgf-cm, 14 ft-lbf)
NOTICE:
* Do not damage the brake lines or wire harness.
* Tighten the 3 bolts in the order shown in the illustration.
(b) Temporarily tighten each brake tube to the correct positions of the brake actuator as shown in the illustration.

(c) Using a union nut wrench 10 mm and 12 mm, fully tighten each brake tube.

Flare Nut 10 mm - Torque : 15 Nm (155 kgf-cm, 11 ft-lbf)
Flare Nut 12 mm - Torque : 20 Nm (199 kgf-cm, 14 ft-lbf)
NOTICE:
Use the formula to calculate special torque values for situations where a union nut wrench is combined with a torque wrench Service Precautions.
(d) Using a union nut wrench 10 mm, connect the No. 3 brake tube to the brake tube way.
Torque : 15 Nm (155 kgf-cm, 11 ft-lbf)
NOTICE:
Use the formula to calculate special torque values for situations where a union nut wrench is combined with a torque wrench Service Precautions.
(e) Install the 2 new clamps to the brake tube assembly.
(f) Engage the 2 clamps to install the brake tube assembly to the body.
(g) Engage the 3 wire harness clamps to the body.
(h) Connect the brake actuator connector.
NOTICE:
Make sure that the connector is locked securely.
3. INSTALL FRONT FENDER EXTENSION RH
(a) Install the front fender extension RH to the body with the 2 bolts and 2 nuts.
Bolt - Torque : 17 Nm (175 kgf-cm, 13 ft-lbf)
Nut - Torque : 39 Nm (398 kgf-cm, 29 ft-lbf)
4. INSTALL COWL VENTILATOR SPLASH SHIELD RH
(a) Engage the guide and claw to install the cowl ventilator splash shield RH.
5. BLEED BRAKE LINE

6. INSTALL WINDSHIELD WIPER MOTOR AND LINK ASSEMBLY
