BRAKE SYSTEM (OTHER): BRAKE PEDAL: INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL BRAKE PEDAL SUPPORT SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Install the brake pedal support sub-assembly with the 4 nuts.

Torque : 13 Nm (130 kgf-cm, 9 ft-lbf)

(b) Engage the 3 clamps to the brake pedal support sub-assembly.

(c) Connect the stop light switch connector to the stop light switch assembly.

2. INSTALL PUSH ROD PIN

(a) Apply lithium soap base glycol grease to the push rod pin.

(b) Connect the brake master cylinder push rod clevis to the brake pedal support sub-assembly with the push rod pin and a new clip.

3. INSPECT AND ADJUST BRAKE PEDAL HEIGHT Adjustments

4. INSPECT BRAKE PEDAL FREE PLAY Adjustments

5. INSPECT BRAKE PEDAL RESERVE DISTANCE Adjustments

6. INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL REINFORCEMENT ASSEMBLY
