INSPECTION PROCEDURE

NOTICE:
* When replacing the brake actuator assembly, perform zero point calibration Programming and Relearning.
* Inspect the fuses for circuits related to this system before performing the following inspection procedure.

PROCEDURE

1. CHECK CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM VSC Off Indicator Light Remains on

B -- CHECK CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM How to Proceed With Troubleshooting
A -- Continue to next step.

2. INSPECT SKID CONTROL ECU (CSW TERMINAL) VSC Off Indicator Light Remains on

NG -- INSPECT VSC OFF SWITCH
OK -- Continue to next step.

3. PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING TECHSTREAM (VSC OFF INDICATOR LIGHT) VSC Off Indicator Light Remains on

NG -- GO TO METER / GAUGE SYSTEM Meter / Gauge System

OK -- REPLACE BRAKE ACTUATOR ASSEMBLY Removal

4. INSPECT VSC OFF SWITCH VSC Off Indicator Light Remains on

NG -- REPLACE VSC OFF SWITCH Removal
OK -- Continue to next step.

5. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (SKID CONTROL ECU - VSC OFF SWITCH) VSC Off Indicator Light Remains on

NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

OK -- CHECK FOR INTERMITTENT PROBLEMS How To Proceed With Troubleshooting
