INSPECTION PROCEDURE

NOTICE:
* Inspect the fuses for circuits related to this system before performing the following inspection procedure.
* When replacing the brake actuator assembly, perform zero point calibration Programming and Relearning.

PROCEDURE

1. CHECK CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM Brake Warning Light Remains on

B -- CHECK CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM How to Proceed With Troubleshooting
A -- Continue to next step.

2. CHECK BRAKE WARNING LIGHT

(a) Disconnect the skid control ECU connector.

(b) Turn the ignition switch to ON.

(c) Check that the brake warning light comes on.

OK:

The brake warning light comes on.

NG -- PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING TECHSTREAM (BRAKE WARNING LIGHT)

OK -- REPLACE BRAKE ACTUATOR ASSEMBLY Removal

3. PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING TECHSTREAM (BRAKE WARNING LIGHT) Brake Warning Light Remains on

NG -- GO TO METER / GAUGE SYSTEM Removal

OK -- REPLACE BRAKE ACTUATOR ASSEMBLY Removal
