DOOR LOCK: DOOR CONTROL SWITCH: INSPECTION

1. INSPECT DOOR CONTROL SWITCH ASSEMBLY

(a) Check the resistance.

(1) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:





If the result is not as specified, replace the door control switch.

(b) Check the illumination operation.

(1) Connect the positive (+) battery lead to terminal 5 and the negative (-) battery lead to terminal 1, then check that the illumination comes on.

OK:

Illumination comes on.

If the illumination does not come on, replace the door control switch.
