INTERIOR PANELS / TRIM: ROOF HEADLINING: INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL NO. 2 ANTENNA CORD SUB-ASSEMBLY Installation

2. INSTALL ROOF WIRE

(a) Align the roof wire positioning tapes with the markings on the roof headlining, as shown in the illustration.

(b) Install the roof wire onto the roof headlining with 7 new pieces of tape.

NOTICE:
* Apply the tape securely in place.
* Do not touch the adhesive surface when applying the tape to prevent adhesion failure.

3. INSTALL NO. 1 ROOF SILENCER PAD

(a) Align the markings on the roof headlining with the 3 No. 1 roof silencer pads and install the silencer using hot-melt glue as shown in the illustration.

4. INSTALL ROOF HEADLINING ASSEMBLY

(a) Pull the roof headlining back into the vehicle through the front door.





(b) Install the 2 clips.





(c) Install the bracket with the bolt.

(d) Connect the 2 connectors.

(e) Engage the 2 clamps.

(f) Connect the connector.

5. INSTALL VISOR HOLDER RH

(a) Engage the 2 claws.





(b) Push in the visor holder and turn it approximately 45° as shown in the illustration.

6. INSTALL VISOR HOLDER LH

HINT
Use the same procedure as for the RH side.

7. INSTALL VISOR ASSEMBLY RH

(a) Engage the 2 clips and install the visor.

(b) Install the visor shaft into the visor holder.

(c) Engage the 4 claws and install a new visor cover.





8. INSTALL VISOR ASSEMBLY LH

HINT
Use the same procedure as for the RH side.

9. INSTALL ASSIST GRIP

HINT
Use the same procedure to install all assist grips.

(a) Engage the 2 clips and install the assist grip.

(b) Engage the 4 claws and install the 2 assist grip covers.





10. INSTALL FRONT PILLAR GARNISH RH

(a) Remove the protective cover.

(b) Engage the 2 guides.

(c) Using needle nose pliers, turn the front pillar garnish clip 90° to engage it to the front pillar garnish.

HINT
Wrap the needle nose pliers with protective tape before use.

(d) Engage the clip and the front pillar garnish clip to install the front pillar garnish.

(a) Engage the 3 clips and install the roof side inner garnish.

15. INSTALL ROOF SIDE INNER GARNISH LH

Use the same procedure as for the RH side.

16. INSTALL REAR SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY RH

(a) Install the rear seat outer belt with the bolt.

Torque : 41 Nm (420 kgf-cm, 30 ft-lbf)

(b) Engage the 2 claws and install the rear seat belt anchor cover.

17. INSTALL REAR SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY LH

HINT
Use the same procedure as for the RH side.

18. INSTALL CENTER PILLAR UPPER GARNISH RH

(a) Install 3 new clips to the center pillar upper garnish.

(b) Engage the 4 clips and install the center pillar upper garnish.

(c) Install the 2 clips.

19. INSTALL CENTER PILLAR UPPER GARNISH LH

HINT
Use the same procedure as for the RH side.

20. INSTALL FRONT SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY RH

(a) Install the front seat outer belt with the bolt.

Torque : 41 Nm (420 kgf-cm, 30 ft-lbf)

21. INSTALL FRONT SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY LH

HINT
Use the same procedure as for the RH side.

22. INSTALL SIDE NO. 1 TRIM ASSEMBLY RH

(a) Engage the 6 clips and install the side No. 1 trim.

(b) Install the clip.

23. INSTALL SIDE NO. 1 TRIM ASSEMBLY LH

Use the same procedure as for the RH side.

24. INSTALL DECK TRIM SIDE BELT HOLE COVER RH

(a) Engage the 5 claws and install the deck trim side belt hole cover.

25. INSTALL DECK TRIM SIDE BELT HOLE COVER LH

Use the same procedure as for the RH side.

26. INSTALL REAR DECK TRIM COVER

(a) Engage the 6 claws.

(b) Install the rear deck trim cover with the 2 clips.

27. INSTALL FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP RH

29. INSTALL COWL SIDE TRIM BOARD RH

(a) Engage the guide and 2 claws and install the cowl side trim board.

31. INSTALL FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH

(a) Engage the 9 claws and install the front door scuff plate.

Installation

34. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

Torque : 5.4 Nm (55 kgf-cm, 48 in-lbf)

35. INSPECT SRS WARNING LIGHT
