Reassembly





EXTERIOR PANELS / TRIM: REAR BUMPER: REASSEMBLY

1. INSTALL NO. 2 REAR BUMPER REINFORCEMENT

(a) Install the rear bumper reinforcement.





2. INSTALL REAR BUMPER REINFORCEMENT SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

(a) Install the rear bumper reinforcement with the 3 bolts.





Torque : 19 Nm (194 kgf-cm, 14 ft-lbf)

3. INSTALL REAR BUMPER REINFORCEMENT SUB-ASSEMBLY RH

HINT
Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

4. INSTALL REAR BUMPER REINFORCEMENT SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Install the rear bumper reinforcement with the 4 nuts.





Torque : 19 Nm (194 kgf-cm, 14 ft-lbf)

5. INSTALL REAR BUMPER ARM SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

(a) Install the rear bumper arm with the 3 nuts.





Torque : 19 Nm (194 kgf-cm, 14 ft-lbf)

6. INSTALL REAR BUMPER ARM SUB-ASSEMBLY RH

HINT
Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

7. INSTALL REAR BUMPER SIDE RETAINER LH

(a) Engage the 3 claws and install the rear bumper side retainer.





(b) Tighten the screw.

8. INSTALL REAR BUMPER SIDE RETAINER RH

HINT
Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

9. INSTALL REAR BUMPER PAD

(a) Apply Primer G to the installation part of the rear bumper pads.

HINT
If primer is applied to an area that is not specified, wipe off the primer with a non-residue solvent before it dries.

(b) Install the 2 new rear bumper pads onto the rear bumper cover, as shown in the illustration.





NOTICE:
* Allow the primer to dry for 3 minutes or more.
* Throw away any leftover primer.
* Do not apply too much primer.

10. INSTALL REFLEX REFLECTOR ASSEMBLY LH

(a) Install the reflex reflector with the nut.





Torque : 2.2 Nm (23 kgf-cm, 20 in-lbf)

11. INSTALL REFLEX REFLECTOR ASSEMBLY RH

HINT
Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

12. INSTALL LICENSE PLATE LIGHT ASSEMBLY Installation

13. INSTALL REAR BUMPER MOULDING

(a) Install the rear bumper moulding with the 2 screws.





14. INSTALL REAR BUMPER GUARD SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Install the 6 grommets.





(b) Engage the guide and install the rear bumper guard.





(c) Tighten the 6 screws.
