Reassembly

EXTERIOR PANELS / TRIM: FRONT BUMPER: REASSEMBLY

1. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER ENERGY ABSORBER SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Install the front bumper energy absorber with the 14 screws.





2. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER REINFORCEMENT SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Engage the 2 guides and install the front bumper reinforcement





(b) Tighten the 8 bolts.

Torque : 40 Nm (408 kgf-cm, 30 ft-lbf)

(c) Engage the 5 clamps.





3. INSTALL RADIATOR SUPPORT EXTENSION LH

(a) Engage the 2 claws and install the radiator support extension.





4. INSTALL RADIATOR SUPPORT EXTENSION RH

HINT
Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

5. INSTALL NO. 2 RADIATOR SIDE AIR SEAL

(a) Engage the 2 claws and install the radiator side air seal.





6. INSTALL NO. 1 RADIATOR SIDE AIR SEAL

HINT
Use the same procedure as for the No. 2 side.

7. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER ENERGY ABSORBER

(a) Engage the 2 guides and install the front bumper energy absorber.





8. INSTALL RADIATOR SUPPORT UPPER ABSORBER

(a) Engage the 7 claws and install the radiator support upper absorber.





9. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER SIDE RETAINER LH

(a) Engage the claw and install the front bumper side retainer.





(b) Tighten the screw.

10. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER SIDE RETAINER RH

HINT
Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

11. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER HOLE COVER

(a) Engage the 2 claws and install the front bumper hole cover.





12. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER PAD RH

(a) Apply Primer G to the installation part of the front bumper pad.

HINT
If primer is applied to an area that is not specified, wipe off the primer with a non-residue solvent before it dries.

(b) Install the new front bumper pad onto the front bumper cover, as shown in the illustration.





NOTICE:
* Allow the primer to dry for 3 minutes or more.
* Throw away any leftover primer.
* Do not apply too much primer.

13. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER SEAL

(a) Apply Primer G to the installation part of the front bumper seal.

HINT
If primer is applied to an area that is not specified, wipe off the primer with a non-residue solvent before it dries.

(b) Install the new front bumper seal onto the front bumper cover, as shown in the illustration.





NOTICE:
* Allow the primer to dry for 3 minutes or more.
* Throw away any leftover primer.
* Do not apply too much primer.

14. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER PAD SUB-ASSEMBLY

HINT
Use the same procedure for the RH and LH sides.

(a) Apply Primer G to the installation part of the front bumper pad.

HINT
If primer is applied to an area that is not specified, wipe off the primer with a non-residue solvent before it dries.

(b) Install the new front bumper pad onto the front bumper cover, as shown in the illustration.





NOTICE:
* Allow the primer to dry for 3 minutes or more.
* Throw away any leftover primer.
* Do not apply too much primer.

15. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER PAD

(a) Apply Primer G to the installation part of the front bumper pad.

HINT
If primer is applied to an area that is not specified, wipe off the primer with a non-residue solvent before it dries.

(b) Install the new front bumper pad onto the front bumper cover, as shown in the illustration.





NOTICE:
* Allow the primer to dry for 3 minutes or more.
* Throw away any leftover primer.
* Do not apply too much primer.

16. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER HOLE COVER LH

(a) Engage the 5 claws and install the front bumper hole cover.





17. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER HOLE COVER RH

HINT
Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

18. INSTALL RADIATOR GRILLE LOWER MOULDING

(a) Install the radiator grille lower moulding with the 2 screws.





19. INSTALL NO. 1 RADIATOR LOWER GRILLE

(a) Engage the 14 claws and install the radiator lower grille.





(b) Tighten the 4 screws.





20. INSTALL RADIATOR UPPER GRILLE

(a) Engage the 12 claws and install the radiator upper grille.
