B2322 - Front Passenger Side Door ECU Communication Stop
DESCRIPTION
The main body ECU stores a DTC when communication with the front door window regulator sub-assembly RH is interrupted for 10 seconds or more.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE
HINT
* When using the Techstream, repeatedly turn either front door courtesy light switch off-and-on at intervals of 1.5 seconds or less until communication between the Techstream and vehicle begins.
* When the main body ECU has been replaced with a new part, or when the battery negative terminal is reconnected, the ignition switch condition will be ON. Also, after the battery is disconnected and reconnected, the LIN communication system condition is the same as it was before the battery was disconnected.
NOTICE:
Inspect the fuses for circuits related to this system before performing the following inspection procedure.
PROCEDURE
1. CLEAR DTC
(a) Clear DTCs Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes.
NEXT -- Continue to next step.
2. CHECK FOR DTC
(a) Check for DTCs Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes.
Result
HINT
When both B2322 and B2325 are output at the same time, troubleshoot B2325 first.
B -- GO TO DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE CHART LIN Communication System
A -- Continue to next step.
3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (INSTRUMENT PANEL J/B - REGULATOR RH)
(a) Disconnect the 3C instrument panel junction block assembly connector.
(b) Disconnect the E4 front door window regulator sub-assembly RH connector.
(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance:

(d) Reconnect the instrument panel junction block assembly connector.
(e) Reconnect the front door window regulator sub-assembly RH connector.
NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- Continue to next step.
4. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (REGULATOR RH - BATTERY AND BODY GROUND)
(a) Disconnect the E4 front door window regulator sub-assembly RH connector.
(b) Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Voltage:
(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance:

(d) Reconnect the front door window regulator sub-assembly RH connector.
NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- Continue to next step.
5. REPLACE FRONT DOOR WINDOW REGULATOR SUB-ASSEMBLY RH WITH A NORMAL ONE
(a) Replace the front door window regulator sub-assembly RH with a normally functioning part Disassembly.
(b) Clear DTCs Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes.

6. RECONFIRM DTC OUTPUT
(a) Recheck for DTCs Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes.

7. INSPECT INSTRUMENT PANEL JUNCTION BLOCK ASSEMBLY

(a) Remove the instrument panel junction block assembly Removal.
(b) Remove the main body ECU from the instrument panel junction block assembly Removal.
(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance:
(d) Reinstall the main body ECU Installation.
(e) Reinstall the instrument panel junction block assembly Installation.
NG -- REPLACE INSTRUMENT PANEL JUNCTION BLOCK ASSEMBLY Removal
OK -- REPLACE MAIN BODY ECU Removal
