Removal

2ZR-FE EXHAUST: EXHAUST PIPE: REMOVAL

1. REMOVE SHIFT LEVER KNOB SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Manual Transaxle) Removal

2. REMOVE UPPER CONSOLE PANEL Removal

3. REMOVE REAR CONSOLE BOX COVER Removal

4. REMOVE CONSOLE BOX CARPET Removal

5. REMOVE REAR CONSOLE BOX SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal

6. REMOVE FRONT CONSOLE BOX Removal

7. REMOVE HEATED OXYGEN SENSOR Installation

8. REMOVE EXHAUST TAIL PIPE ASSEMBLY





(a) Remove the 2 bolts and 2 compression springs.

(b) Remove the 2 exhaust pipe supports and the exhaust tail pipe assembly.

9. REMOVE EXHAUST TAIL PIPE BAFFLE SUB ASSEMBLY





(a) Using a plastic hammer, uniformly tap out and remove the exhaust tail pipe baffle.

10. REMOVE FRONT FLOOR CENTER BRACE





(a) Remove the 2 bolts and remove the front floor center brace.

11. REMOVE FRONT EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY





(a) Remove the 2 bolts and 2 compression springs.

(b) Remove the 3 exhaust pipe supports and the front exhaust pipe assembly.
