Removal

INTERIOR: FUEL LID LOCK CONTROL: REMOVAL

1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL (w/ Front Seat Side Airbag)

CAUTION:
Wait for 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable to prevent airbag deployment.

2. REMOVE FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY LH Removal

3. REMOVE DECK BOARD ASSEMBLY Removal

4. REMOVE NO. 1 REAR SEAT LEG COVER LH Removal

5. REMOVE NO. 2 REAR SEAT LEG COVER LH Removal

6. REMOVE REAR SEAT ASSEMBLY LH Removal

7. REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH Removal

8. REMOVE NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal

9. REMOVE COWL SIDE TRIM BOARD LH Removal

10. REMOVE FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP LH Removal

11. REMOVE REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH Removal

12. REMOVE REAR DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP LH Removal

13. REMOVE LAP BELT OUTER ANCHOR COVER Removal

14. REMOVE FRONT SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY LH Removal

15. REMOVE CENTER PILLAR LOWER GARNISH LH Removal

16. REMOVE REAR DECK TRIM COVER Removal

17. REMOVE LUGGAGE HOLD BELT STRIKER ASSEMBLY Removal

18. REMOVE REAR SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY LH Removal

19. REMOVE DECK TRIM SIDE PANEL ASSEMBLY LH Removal

20. DISCONNECT FUEL LID LOCK OPEN LEVER SUB-ASSEMBLY





(a) Remove the bolt.

(b) Disengage the claw and disconnect the fuel lid lock open lever sub-assembly as shown in the illustration.

21. REMOVE FUEL LID LOCK CONTROL CABLE SUB-ASSEMBLY





(a) Disconnect the fuel lid lock control cable sub-assembly as shown in the illustration.

(b) Disengage the clamp and disconnect the fuel lid lock control cable sub-assembly as shown in the illustration.

(c) Disengage the 5 clamps and remove the fuel lid lock control cable sub-assembly.





(d) Remove the fuel lid lock control cable sub-assembly by turning it counter-clockwise and pulling it, as shown in the illustration.
