Reassembly

EB60 MANUAL TRANSMISSION / TRANSAXLE: SHIFT AND SELECT LEVER SHAFT: REASSEMBLY

1. INSTALL RELEASE HEAD

(a) Install the release head to the shift and select lever shaft, and then align the holes of the 2 parts.

NOTICE:
Make sure that the installation direction is correct.

(b) Using a 5 mm pin punch and hammer, tap in the slotted spring pin to the shift and select lever shaft.





Standard depth:

-0.2 to 0.8 mm (-0.00787 to 0.0314 in.)

2. INSTALL FRONT INNER SHIFT LEVER

(a) Install the front inner shift lever to the shift and select lever shaft, and then align the holes of the 2 parts.

NOTICE:
Make sure that the installation direction is correct.

(b) Using a 5 mm pin punch and hammer, tap in the slotted spring pin to the shift and select lever shaft.





Standard depth:

-0.2 to 0.8 mm (-0.00787 to 0.0314 in.)

3. INSTALL INNER NO. 2 SHIFT LEVER

(a) Install the inner No. 2 shift lever to the shift and select lever shaft, and then align the holes of the 2 parts.

NOTICE:
Make sure that the installation direction is correct.

(b) Using a 5 mm pin punch and hammer, tap in the slotted spring pin to the shift and select lever shaft.





Standard depth:

0 to 0.6 mm (0 to 0.0236 in.)
