Removal





U760E AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION / TRANSAXLE: OIL COOLER: REMOVAL

1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

NOTICE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Repair Instruction - Initialization.

2. REMOVE BATTERY CLAMP SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal

3. REMOVE BATTERY INSULATOR

4. REMOVE BATTERY

5. REMOVE BATTERY TRAY

6. REMOVE BATTERY CARRIER Removal

7. REMOVE NO. 1 OIL COOLER TUBE SUB-ASSEMBLY





(a) Disconnect the No. 2 oil cooler inlet hose and No. 2 oil cooler outlet hose from the No. 2 oil cooler tube.

(b) Disconnect the No. 1 oil cooler inlet hose and No. 1 oil cooler outlet hose from the automatic transaxle.





(c) Remove the bolt and No. 1 oil cooler tube.

(d) Remove the No. 1 oil cooler inlet hose, No. 1 oil cooler outlet hose, No. 2 oil cooler inlet hose and No. 2 oil cooler outlet hose.





8. REMOVE NO. 2 OIL COOLER TUBE SUB-ASSEMBLY





(a) Disconnect the No. 3 oil cooler inlet hose and No. 3 oil cooler outlet hose from the radiator.

(b) Remove the 2 bolts and No. 2 oil cooler tube.

(c) Remove the No. 3 oil cooler inlet hose and No. 3 oil cooler outlet hose from the No. 2 oil cooler tube.
