Reassembly

U760E AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION / TRANSAXLE: SHIFT LEVER: REASSEMBLY

1. INSTALL SHIFT LOCK CONTROL ECU

(a) Attach the 3 claws to install the shift lock control ECU to the shift lock control unit.

(b) Connect the shift lock solenoid connector to the shift lock control ECU.

2. INSTALL LOWER POSITION INDICATOR HOUSING

(a) Attach the 4 claws to install the lower position indicator housing to the shift lock control unit.

3. INSTALL POSITION INDICATOR LIGHT BULB

(a) Install the cap to the bulb.

(b) Install the bulb to the position indicator light wire socket.

4. INSTALL INDICATOR LIGHT WIRE SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Connect terminals 7 and 14 to the connector shown in the illustration.

(b) Push in the stopper.

(c) Install the position indicator light wire socket and connector to the shift lock control unit.





5. INSTALL NO. 2 POSITION INDICATOR SLIDE COVER

(a) Install the No. 2 position indicator slide cover to the position indicator slide cover.

6. INSTALL POSITION INDICATOR SLIDE COVER

(a) Install the position indicator slide cover together with the No. 2 position indicator slide cover to the lower position indicator housing.

7. INSTALL POSITION INDICATOR LIGHT GUIDE

(a) Attach the 4 claws to install the position indicator light guide to the lower position indicator housing.

8. INSTALL SHIFT LOCK RELEASE BUTTON COVER

(a) Attach the 2 claws to install the shift lock release button cover to the floor shift position indicator housing assembly.

9. INSTALL FLOOR SHIFT POSITION INDICATOR
HOUSING SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Attach the 4 claws to install the floor shift position indicator housing assembly to the lower position indicator housing.

10. INSTALL SHIFT LEVER KNOB SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Install the shift lever knob and twist it in the direction indicated by the arrow.
