Installation





REAR SUSPENSION: REAR TRAILING ARM: INSTALLATION

HINT
* Use the same procedure for the RH and LH sides.
* The procedure listed below is for the LH side.
* A bolt without a torque specification is shown in the standard bolt chart Standard Bolt - Specified Torque For Standard Bolts.

1. INSTALL REAR TRAILING ARM ASSEMBLY LH





(a) Install the trailing arm to the axle carrier and suspension member with the 4 bolts.

for bolt A - Torque : 200 Nm (2039 kgf-cm, 148 ft-lbf)

for bolt B - Torque : 90 Nm (918 kgf-cm, 66 ft-lbf)

2. TEMPORARILY INSTALL REAR NO. 1 SUSPENSION ARM ASSEMBLY LH

(a) Insert the rear suspension toe adjust cam sub-assembly from the rear of the vehicle to install the rear No. 1 suspension arm assembly LH, and then temporarily install the No. 2 camber adjust cam with the nut.

3. CONNECT PARKING BRAKE CABLE Installation

4. CONNECT SKID CONTROL SENSOR WIRE LH Installation

5. STABILIZE SUSPENSION Installation

6. TIGHTEN REAR NO. 1 SUSPENSION ARM ASSEMBLY LH

(a) Tighten the nut.





Torque : 100 Nm (1020 kgf-cm, 74 ft-lbf)

NOTICE:
Align the matchmarks on the rear suspension member and adjust cam.

7. INSTALL REAR WHEEL

Torque : 103 Nm (1050 kgf-cm, 76 ft-lbf)

8. INSPECT AND ADJUST REAR WHEEL ALIGNMENT

9. ADJUST HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY
