SEAT: FRONT SEATBACK HEATER (w/ Seat Heater System): INSTALLATION

CAUTION:
Wear protective gloves. Sharp areas on the parts may injure your hands.

HINT
* Use the same procedure for the RH and LH sides.
* The procedure listed below is for the LH side.

1. INSTALL FRONT SEATBACK HEATER ASSEMBLY LH





(a) Set the seatback heater in place with the name stamp side facing the seatback cover.

(b) Install the seatback heater with new tack pins.

2. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER Reassembly

3. INSTALL FRONT SEATBACK COVER WITH PAD





(a) Attach the 4 hooks to install the seatback cover with pad to the seatback spring.

(b) Attach the 4 claws to install the 2 headrest supports.

(c) Attach the 2 hooks and connect the seatback cover bracket to the seatback spring with the nut.

Torque : 5.5 Nm (56 kgf-cm, 49 in-lbf)

NOTICE:
After the seatback cover is installed, make sure the seatback cover bracket is not twisted.





(d) Using hog ring pliers, connect the strap of the seatback cover to the seatback spring with 3 new hog rings.

(e) Close the 2 fasteners to close the seatback cover.





(f) Using hog ring pliers, install 3 new hog rings.

(g) Connect the seatback heater connector and attach the wire harness clamp of the rear part of the seat cushion cover.

(h) Install the rubber band to the seat cushion spring.

6. INSTALL FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY
