SLIDING ROOF / CONVERTIBLE: SLIDING ROOF HOUSING: DISASSEMBLY

1. REMOVE SUNSHADE TRIM SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Using a T25 "TORX" socket wrench, remove the 4 screws.

(b) Lift up the sunshade trim sub-assembly and slide the 4 runners (2 on each side) to detach them from the sliding roof guide rail as shown in the illustration, and then remove the sunshade trim sub-assembly.

2. REMOVE SLIDE ROOF RAIL SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Using a screwdriver, slide the sliding roof shoe sub-assembly until it comes out of the sliding roof cable guide casing as shown in the illustration.

HINT
Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

(b) Using a T25 "TORX" socket wrench, remove the 4 screws and No. 1 sliding roof housing panel sub-assembly.
