16. CHECK CONNECTORS
(a) Disconnect the connectors from the center airbag sensor and side airbag sensor LH.
(b) Check that the connectors (on the center airbag sensor side and side airbag sensor LH side) are not damaged.
OK:
The connectors are not deformed or damaged.

17. CHECK FLOOR WIRE (CENTER AIRBAG SENSOR - SIDE AIRBAG SENSOR LH)
(a) Connect the cable to the negative (-) battery terminal, and wait for at least 2 seconds.

(b) Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Voltage:
(c) Turn the ignition switch off.
(d) Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal, and wait for at least 90 seconds.
(e) Using a service wire, connect terminals 8 (BBL+) and 15 (BBL-) of connector B.
NOTICE:
Do not forcibly insert the service wire into the terminals of the connector when connecting a service wire.
(f) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance:
(g) Disconnect the service wire from connector B.
(h) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance:
NG -- REPLACE FLOOR WIRE
OK -- Continue to next step.
18. CHECK CONNECTION OF CONNECTOR
(a) Check that the connector is properly connected to the rear airbag sensor LH.
OK:
The connector is properly connected.
NG -- CONNECT CONNECTORS PROPERLY
OK -- Continue to next step.
19. CHECK CONNECTORS
(a) Disconnect the connector from the rear airbag sensor LH.
(b) Check that the connector (on the rear airbag sensor LH side) is not damaged.
OK:
The connector is not deformed or damaged.

20. CHECK REAR AIRBAG SENSOR LH CIRCUIT
(a) Connect the cable to the negative (-) battery terminal, and wait for at least 2 seconds.

(c) Turn the ignition switch off.
(d) Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal, and wait for at least 90 seconds.
(e) Using a service wire, connect terminals 4 (BCL+) and 3 (BCL-) of connector C.
NOTICE:
Do not forcibly insert the service wire into the terminals of the connector when connecting a service wire.
(f) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

(h) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

21. CHECK CONNECTION OF CONNECTORS
(a) Check that the connector is properly connected to the door side airbag sensor LH.
OK:
The connector is properly connected.
NG -- CONNECT CONNECTORS PROPERLY
OK -- Continue to next step.
22. CHECK CONNECTORS
(a) Disconnect the connector from the door side airbag sensor LH.
(b) Check that the connector (on the door side airbag sensor LH side) is not damaged.
OK:
The connector is not deformed or damaged.

23. CHECK DOOR SIDE AIRBAG SENSOR LH CIRCUIT
(a) Connect the cable to the negative (-) battery terminal, and wait for at least 2 seconds.

(c) Turn the ignition switch off.
(d) Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal, and wait for at least 90 seconds.
(e) Using a service wire, connect terminals 2 (BDL+) and 1 (BDL-) of connector E.
NOTICE:
Do not forcibly insert the service wire into the terminals of the connector when connecting a service wire.
(f) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

(h) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

NG -- CHECK FLOOR WIRE (REAR AIRBAG SENSOR LH - FRONT DOOR WIRE LH)

24. CHECK SIDE AIRBAG SENSOR LH
(a) Connect the connectors to the center airbag sensor, rear airbag sensor LH and door side airbag sensor.
(b) Interchange the side airbag sensor LH with RH and connect the connectors to them.
(c) Connect the cable to the negative (-) battery terminal, and wait for at least 2 seconds.
(d) Turn the ignition switch to ON, and wait for at least 60 seconds.
(e) Clear the DTCs stored in memory Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes.
(f) Turn the ignition switch off.
(g) Turn the ignition switch to ON, and wait for at least 90 seconds.
(h) Check for DTCs Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes.

25. CHECK REAR AIRBAG SENSOR LH
(a) Interchange the rear airbag sensor LH with RH and connect the connectors to them.
(b) Connect the cable to the negative (-) battery terminal, and wait for at least 2 seconds.
(c) Turn the ignition switch to ON, and wait for at least 60 seconds.
(d) Clear the DTCs stored in memory Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes.
(e) Turn the ignition switch off.
(f) Turn the ignition switch to ON, and wait for at least 90 seconds.
(g) Check for DTCs Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes.

26. CHECK DOOR SIDE AIRBAG SENSOR LH
(a) Interchange the door side airbag sensor LH with RH and connect the connectors to them.
(b) Connect the cable to the negative (-) battery terminal, and wait for at least 2 seconds.
(c) Turn the ignition switch to ON, and wait for at least 60 seconds.
(d) Clear the DTCs stored in memory Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes.
(e) Turn the ignition switch off.
(f) Turn the ignition switch to ON, and wait for at least 90 seconds.
(g) Check for DTCs Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes.
