Applicability
Introduction
When the DCC fuse is removed or the battery is disconnected, the "one-touch open and close" and 'lam protection" functions of the power windows will be inoperative due to a loss of the door window position memory stored in the Body ECU.
Initialize each door's power window during Pre-Delivery Service (PDS).
NOTE
Anytime the battery terminal has been disconnected, the power windows MUST be re-initialized.

Initialization Procedure
Driver Door Power Window Switch
1. Cycle ignition switch to the "IG-ON" position.
NOTE
All power window switches blink after the battery terminal has been disconnected.
2. Push the driver's door power window switch "DOWN" to open the window.
3. Pull "UP" and hold the driver door power window switch until the window closes. Continue holding the switch until the switch stops blinking and remains illuminated.
4. Check for proper operation of the "one-touch open and close" function by fully pushing the switch "DOWN" once and fully pulling the switch "UP" once.
NOTE
Jam protection function for the driver window becomes effective through the above initialization procedure.
Passenger Door Power Window Switch
1. Cycle ignition switch to the "IG-ON" position.
2. Push the passenger door power window switch "DOWN" to open the window.
3. Pull "UP" and hold the passenger door power window switch until the window closes. Continue holding the switch until the switch stops blinking and remains illuminated.
4. Check for proper operation of the "one-touch open and close" function by fully pushing the switch "DOWN" once and fully pulling the switch "UP" once.
NOTE
Jam protection function for the passenger window becomes effective through the above initialization procedure.
