Applicability

Introduction





Some vehicles equipped with the Post Production Option (PPO) / Dealer Installed Option (DIO) accessory Alpine Premium Audio unit may exhibit front bass sound imbalance while the audio unit is set to the "tC" mode only.

HINT

To identify the bass output level issue in the "tC" mode:

^ Analyze the bass sound output with the fader positioned to the front.

^ Compare the bass sound output as the balance is moved slowly to the left channel, back to the middle, and then to the right channel.

An exchange radio is available with updated sound tuning files to address this condition.
