C50 MANUAL TRANSAXLE: TRANSMISSION CONTROL CABLE: REMOVAL

REMOVAL

1. REMOVE SHIFT LEVER KNOB SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal
2. REMOVE UPPER CONSOLE PANEL Removal
3. REMOVE CONSOLE BOX COVER REAR Removal
4. REMOVE CONSOLE BOX CARPET Removal
5. REMOVE REAR CONSOLE BOX SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal
6. REMOVE FRONT CONSOLE BOX Removal
7. REMOVE FRONT FLOOR CENTER BRACE Removal
8. DISCONNECT HEATED OXYGEN SENSOR CONNECTOR
9. REMOVE FRONT EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY Removal





10. REMOVE FRONT NO. 1 FLOOR HEAT INSULATOR
(a) Remove the 2 bolts and nut and remove the front No. 1 floor heat insulator.
11. REMOVE TRANSMISSION CONTROL CABLE ASSEMBLY





(a) Disconnect the control shift cable from the shift lever.
(b) Remove the clip and disconnect the control select cable from the shift lever.





(c) Turn the adjust nut 180°clockwise. While holding the adjust nut, separate the control cable assembly.





(d) Remove the 2 clips and the 2 washers, and disconnect the 2 cables from the transaxle.
(e) Remove the 2 clips and disconnect the 2 cables from the control cable bracket.





(f) Remove the 3 nuts and remove the transmission control cable.
