U341E AUTOMATIC TRANSAXLE: TRANSMISSION CONTROL CABLE ASSEMBLY: REMOVAL

REMOVAL

1. REMOVE UPPER CONSOLE PANEL Removal
2. REMOVE REAR CONSOLE BOX COVER Removal
3. REMOVE CONSOLE BOX CARPET Removal
4. REMOVE REAR CONSOLE BOX SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal
5. REMOVE FRONT CONSOLE BOX Removal
6. REMOVE BATTERY Removal
7. REMOVE BATTERY TRAY
8. REMOVE AIR CLEANER ASSEMBLY Removal
9. REMOVE AIR CLEANER BRACKET Removal
10. REMOVE FRONT EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY Removal
11. REMOVE FRONT NO. 1 FLOOR HEAT INSULATOR

(a) Remove the 2 bolts and the nut and remove the front No. 1 floor heat insulator.
12. REMOVE TRANSMISSION CONTROL CABLE ASSEMBLY

(a) Disconnect the transmission control cable assembly from the transmission floor shift assembly.

(b) Turn the nut and separate the transmission control cable assembly from the shift lever retainer.

(d) Remove the nut and disconnect the transmission control cable assembly from the control shaft lever.
(e) Remove the clip and separate the transmission control cable assembly from the control cable bracket.

(f) Remove the 3 nuts and remove the transmission control cable assembly.
