2AZ-FE INTAKE: AIR CLEANER AND HOSE: REMOVAL

REMOVAL

1. REMOVE MASS AIR FLOW METER Removal
2. REMOVE NO. 1 VACUUM SWITCHING VALVE ASSEMBLY Removal
3. REMOVE AIR CLEANER ASSEMBLY





(a) Loosen the No. 1 air cleaner hose clamp, unlock the air cleaner assembly clamp and remove the air cleaner cap sub-assembly.
(b) Remove the air cleaner filter element sub-assembly.





(c) Separate the No. 2 fuel vapor feed hose.
(d) Disconnect the ventilation hose.
(e) Loosen the No. 1 air cleaner hose clamp and remove the No. 1 air cleaner hose.





(f) Separate the wire harness.
(g) Remove the 3 bolts and remove the air cleaner case sub-assembly.





(h) Loosen the No. 2 intake air resonator hose clamp and remove the No. 2 intake air resonator.





(i) Remove the union tube.
