2AZ-FE INTAKE: INTAKE MANIFOLD: INSTALLATION

INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL INTAKE MANIFOLD





(a) Install the throttle hose.





(b) Install the union to connector tube hose.
(c) Install the vacuum hose clamp with bolt.
Torque: 8.5 Nm (87 kgf-cm, 75 in-lbf)





(d) Install the No. 2 ventilation hose.
(e) Install a new gasket onto the intake manifold.





(f) Install the intake manifold with the 5 bolts and 2 nuts.
Torque: 30 Nm (306 kgf-cm, 22 ft-lbf)





(g) Install the union to connector tube hose.





(h) Install the No. 2 ventilation hose.
2. INSTALL FUEL DELIVERY PIPE SUB-ASSEMBLY WITH FUEL TUBE SUB-ASSEMBLY





(a) Install the 4 new injector vibration insulator onto the cylinder head.
(b) Install the No. 1 delivery pipe spacer.





(c) Install the fuel delivery pipe sub-assembly with the 2 bolts.
Torque: 20 Nm (204 kgf-cm, 15 ft-lbf)
(d) Install the fuel tube sub-assembly.





(e) Install the wire harness.
(f) Connect the injector assembly connector and camshaft oil control valve assembly connector.
(g) Connect the heated oxygen sensor connector.
3. CONNECT FUEL TUBE SUB-ASSEMBLY





(a) Connect the fuel tube sub-assembly.





(b) Install the EFI pipe clamp.

5. INSTALL AIR CLEANER CAP SUB-ASSEMBLY WITH NO. 1 AIR CLEANER HOSE Installation
6. INSTALL NO. 1 ENGINE COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY Installation
7. INSTALL OUTER COWL TOP PANEL Installation
8. INSTALL FRONT WIPER MOTOR AND LINK Installation
9. INSTALL COWL TOP VENTILATOR LOUVER LH Installation
10. INSTALL COWL TOP VENTILATOR LOUVER RH Installation
11. INSTALL HOOD TO COWL TOP SEAL Installation
12. INSTALL FRONT WIPER ARM AND BLADE ASSEMBLY LH Installation
13. INSTALL FRONT WIPER ARM AND BLADE ASSEMBLY RH Installation
14. INSTALL WINDSHIELD WIPER ARM COVER Installation
15. ADD ENGINE COOLANT Service and Repair
16. INSPECT FOR COOLANT LEAK Testing and Inspection
