Installation








BRAKE CONTROL: FRONT SPEED SENSOR: INSTALLATION

INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL FRONT SPEED SENSOR





(a) Install the speed sensor onto the steering knuckle with the bolt.
Torque: 8.5 Nm (87 kgf-cm, 75 in-lbf)
NOTICE:
- Check that the speed sensor tip and installation portion are free of foreign matter.
- Install the speed sensor without turning it from its original installation angle.

(b) Engage clamp C onto the shock absorber.
(c) Install the No. 1 sensor clamp onto the shock absorber with the bolt.
Torque: 29 Nm (296 kgf-cm, 21 ft-lbf)
NOTICE: The bolt tightens the flexible hose and front speed sensor together. Make sure that the flexible hose is positioned over the front speed sensor.

(d) Install the No. 2 sensor clamp onto the body with the bolt.
Torque: 8.5 Nm (87 kgf-cm, 75 in-lbf)
(e) Engage clamp B onto the body.
(f) Connect the speed sensor connector.
(g) Engage clamp A onto the body.

4. INSTALL FRONT WHEEL
Torque: 103 Nm (1050 kgf-cm, 76 ft-lbf)
5. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
Torque: 5.4 Nm (55 kgf-cm, 48 in-lbf)
6. CHECK VSC SENSOR SIGNAL
