Initialization of Moon Roof During PDS

Applicability

Introduction

When the DCC fuse has been removed or when the battery has been disconnected, the power moon roof 'AUTO" opening functions and 'lam protection" are rendered inoperative. Perform the following procedure to re-initialize the moon roof during Pre-Delivery Service (PDS).

NOTE
Any time the battery terminal has been disconnected, the moon roof MUST be re-initialized.

Initialization Procedure

1. Turn the ignition to the "ON" position.

2. Push the "OPEN" side of the moon roof switch to open the moon roof HALFWAY





3. Push the "CLOSE" side of the moon roof switch and hold for 2 seconds after the motor stops.

4. Verify proper operation of "AUTO" mode.

NOTE
Jam protection function is enabled through the above initialization procedure.
