Installation








SEAT BELT: FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY: INSTALLATION

INSTALLATION
CAUTION: Some of these service operations affect the SRS airbag system. Read the precautionary notices concerning the SRS airbag system before servicing Service Precautions.
NOTE: Always use "TORX" socket wrench E10 when installing the front seat.
HINT: The procedure described below is for the driver side. Use the same procedure for both the driver and front passenger sides, unless otherwise specified.

1. INSTALL FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY LH






(a) Install the front seat inner belt with the bolt.
Torque: 42 Nm (428 kgf-cm, 31 ft-lbf)
NOTE: Do not place the front seat inner belt over the convex areas of the front seat frame adjuster.

(b) Install the wiring harness into the claw on the front seat cushion shield.






(c) Install the 2 wiring harness clamps.
(d) Install the buckle switch connector.
(e) Connect the seat position sensor connector.
2. INSTALL FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY RH






(a) Install the front seat inner belt with the bolt.
Torque: 42 Nm (428 kgf-cm, 31 ft-lbf)
NOTE: Do not place the front seat inner belt over the convex areas of the front seat with frame adjuster.

(b) Install the wiring harness into the claw on the front seat cushion shield.






(c) Install the 2 wiring harness clamps.
(d) Install the buckle switch connector.

4. INSTALL FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY RH Installation

5. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
Torque: 5.4 Nm (55 kgf-cm, 48 in-lbf)
6. INSPECT SRS WARNING LIGHT
