INSTRUMENT PANEL: LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL: INSTALLATION

INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL POWER OUTLET SOCKET COVER Installation

2. INSTALL POWER OUTLET SOCKET ASSEMBLY Installation

3. INSTALL CUSHION
(a) Install the cushion to the lower instrument panel.
4. INSTALL STEREO JACK ADAPTER ASSEMBLY

(a) Engage the 2 claws and install the stereo jack adapter (AUX).

(b) Engage the 2 claws and install the stereo jack adapter (i Pod).

5. INSTALL LIGHT CONTROL RHEOSTAT
(a) Engage the 2 claws and install the light control rheostat.

6. INSTALL OUTER MIRROR SWITCH ASSEMBLY
(a) Engage the 2 claws and install the outer mirror switch.

7. INSTALL NO. 1 INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL SEAL
(a) Engage the 4 claws and install the instrument cluster finish panel seal.

8. INSTALL GLOVE COMPARTMENT DOOR STOPPER SUB-ASSEMBLY
(a) Engage the claw and install the glove compartment door stopper.
9. INSTALL LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL
(a) Engage the 4 claws and install the lower instrument panel.
(b) Connect the 7 clamps.

(c) Install the lower instrument panel with the 5 [D] or [E] screws, [H] screw, [I] screw, and 2 [F] bolts.
HINT: The [E] screws have larger diameter and should be used for repair installation.

(d) Engage the 2 claws and install the DLC3 connector.

10. INSTALL ANTENNA CORD SUB-ASSEMBLY
(a) Connect the 3 clamps and install the antenna cord.

11. CONNECT HOOD LOCK CONTROL LEVER SUB-ASSEMBLY
(a) Engage the 3 claws to connect the hood lock control lever.

12. INSTALL NO. 1 RADIO BRACKET
(a) Install the radio bracket with the 2 bolts.

13. INSTALL NO. 2 RADIO BRACKET
(a) Install the radio bracket with the 2 bolts.

14. INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL BOX
(a) Insert the instrument panel box.
(b) Engage the 2 hinges with the instrument panel open.
(c) Close the instrument panel box.
15. INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER TRAY

(a) Engage the clip and 6 claws and install the instrument panel under tray.
(b) Install the 2 [A] screws.

16. INSTALL FRONT CONSOLE BOX
(a) Engage the clip and 2 claws and install the front console box.
(b) Install the 2 [H] screws.
17. CONNECT AIR MIX DAMPER CONTROL CABLE SUB-ASSEMBLY Installation

18. CONNECT AIR INLET DAMPER CONTROL CABLE SUB-ASSEMBLY Installation

19. CONNECT DEFROSTER DAMPER CONTROL CABLE SUB-ASSEMBLY Installation

20. INSTALL AIR CONDITIONING PANEL ASSEMBLY Installation

21. INSTALL REAR CONSOLE BOX SUB-ASSEMBLY Installation

22. INSTALL CONSOLE BOX CARPET Installation

23. INSTALL REAR CONSOLE BOX COVER Installation

24. INSTALL UPPER CONSOLE PANEL Installation

25. INSTALL SHIFT LEVER KNOB SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Manual Transaxle) Installation

26. INSTALL COWL SIDE TRIM BOARD RH Installation

27. INSTALL COWL SIDE TRIM BOARD LH Installation

28. INSTALL NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY Installation

29. INSTALL NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY Installation

30. INSTALL FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH Installation

31. INSTALL FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH Installation

34. INSTALL INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL RETAINER Installation

35. INSTALL INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH CENTER PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY Installation

36. INSTALL COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY Installation

37. INSTALL INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL Installation

38. INSTALL FRONT PILLAR GARNISH RH Installation

39. INSTALL FRONT PILLAR GARNISH LH Installation

40. INSTALL FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP RH Installation

41. INSTALL FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP LH Installation

42. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
Torque: 5.4 Nm (55 kgf-cm, 48 in-lbf)
43. INSPECT SRS WARNING LIGHT
