Disassembly








ENGINE HOOD / DOOR: REAR DOOR: DISASSEMBLY

DISASSEMBLY
HINT:
- Use the same procedure for both the RH and LH sides.
- The procedure described below is for the RH side.

1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
CAUTION: Wait for 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable to prevent the airbag from working.

2. REMOVE REAR DOOR ARMREST BASE UPPER PANEL






(a) Remove the screw.
(b) Disengage the 7 claws and clip and remove the rear door armrest base upper panel.
(c) Disconnect the connector.
3. REMOVE REAR DOOR INSIDE HANDLE BEZEL






(a) Disengage the 4 claws and remove the rear door inside handle bezel.
4. REMOVE REAR DOOR TRIM BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY






(a) Remove the screw.






(b) Disengage the 7 clips.






(c) Disconnect the rear door lock remote control cable and the rear door inside locking cable and remove the rear door trim board sub-assembly.
(d) Disconnect the connector.
5. REMOVE REAR DOOR INSIDE HANDLE SUB-ASSEMBLY






(a) Disengage the 2 claws and remove the rear door inside handle sub-assembly.
6. REMOVE REAR DOOR GLASS INNER WEATHERSTRIP






(a) Raise the 5 claws of the rear door glass inner weatherstrip and then remove the rear door glass inner weatherstrip from the rear door trim board assembly, as shown in the illustration.
7. REMOVE REAR DOOR SPEAKER ASSEMBLY Removal

8. REMOVE REAR DOOR TRIM BRACKET






(a) Remove 2 screws and remove the rear door trim bracket.
9. REMOVE REAR DOOR SERVICE HOLE COVER






(a) Disconnect the connectors and clamps, then remove the rear door service hole cover.
NOTE: Remove any tape remaining on the door.





10. REMOVE REAR DOOR CHECK ASSEMBLY
(a) Remove the 3 bolts, then remove the rear door check assembly.
NOTE: Do not drop or damage the rear door check assembly when removing the bolts.
HINT: Remove the rear door check assembly through the service hole.





11. REMOVE REAR DOOR WEATHERSTRIP
(a) Disengage the 30 clips and remove the rear door weatherstrip.
NOTE: Remove any tape remaining on the door.

12. REMOVE REAR DOOR BELT MOULDING







13. REMOVE REAR DOOR GLASS RUN
(a) Remove the rear door glass run.






14. REMOVE REAR DOOR WINDOW DIVISION BAR SUB-ASSEMBLY
(a) Remove the 2 bolts and screw and remove the rear door window division bar sub-assembly.
NOTE: Do not drop or damage the rear door window division bar sub-assembly when removing the bolts and screw.





15. REMOVE REAR DOOR QUARTER WINDOW WEATHERSTRIP
(a) Slide the rear door quarter window weatherstrip and the rear door quarter window glass, in the direction indicated by the arrow in the illustration, to remove them.






16. REMOVE REAR DOOR QUARTER WINDOW GLASS
(a) Remove the rear door quarter window glass from the rear door quarter window weatherstrip.






17. REMOVE REAR DOOR GLASS
(a) Remove the rear door glass from the rear door window regulator.
NOTE: Do not damage the door glass.





18. REMOVE REAR DOOR WINDOW REGULATOR SUB-ASSEMBLY
(a) Disconnect the connector.
(b) Loosen bolt A.
(c) Remove the 3 bolts, then remove the rear door window regulator sub-assembly.
NOTE: Do not drop or damage the rear door window regulator sub-assembly when removing the bolts.
HINT: Remove the rear door window regulator sub-assembly through the service hole.

19. REMOVE REAR DOOR LOCK ASSEMBLY Removal







20. REMOVE REAR DOOR OUTSIDE HANDLE COVER
(a) Using "TORX" socket wrench T30, remove the screw and the rear door outside handle cover.






21. REMOVE REAR DOOR OUTSIDE HANDLE ASSEMBLY
(a) Remove the rear door outside handle assembly by sliding and pulling it in the direction indicated by the arrow mark in the illustration.






22. REMOVE REAR DOOR OUTSIDE HANDLE REAR PAD
(a) Disengage the 2 claws and remove the rear door outside handle rear pad.
23. REMOVE REAR DOOR OUTSIDE HANDLE FRONT PAD





(a) Using "TORX" socket wrench T30, loosen the screw.






(b) Disengage the 2 claws and remove the rear door outside handle front pad.






24. REMOVE REAR DOOR OUTSIDE HANDLE FRAME SUB-ASSEMBLY
(a) Slide the rear door outside handle frame sub-assembly to remove it.
