CLUTCH: CLUTCH PEDAL: INSTALLATION

INSTALLATION





1. INSTALL CLUTCH PEDAL SUB-ASSEMBLY
(a) Install the clutch pedal support to the vehicle with the 2 nuts and bolt.
Torque: 24 Nm (241 kgf-cm, 17 ft-lbf)for bolt
Torque: 12 Nm (120 kgf-cm, 9 ft-lbf)for nut






2. INSTALL CLUTCH MASTER CYLINDER PUSH ROD CLEVIS HOLE PIN
(a) Apply MP grease to the contact surface of the hole pin and clevis bush.
(b) Connect the clevis to the clutch pedal with the hole pin.
HINT: Install the hole pin from the right side of the vehicle.

(c) Install the clip to the hole pin.
3. INSTALL CLUTCH PEDAL SPRING
4. CONNECT CONNECTOR
(a) Connect the clutch pedal switch connector.
(b) Connect the clutch switch connector.
5. INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY UPPER Installation

6. INSPECT AND ADJUST CLUTCH PEDAL SUB-ASSEMBLY
(a) Inspect and adjust the clutch pedal Testing and Inspection.
7. INSTALL NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL AIRBAG ASSEMBLY LOWER Installation

8. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
9. PERFORM INITIALIZATION
(a) Perform initialization Testing and Inspection.
NOTE: Certain systems need to be initialized after disconnecting and reconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.

10. CHECK SRS WARNING LIGHT
(a) Check SRS warning light Diagnosis System.
