SUSPENSION: FRONT STABILIZER BAR: INSPECTION

INSPECTION





1. INSPECT FRONT STABILIZER LINK ASSEMBLY
(a) Secure the stabilizer link LH with a vise.
(b) Install the nut to the stud bolt.
(c) Flip the ball joint back and forth 5 times or more.
(d) Use a torque wrench to turn the nut continuously at a rate of 3 to 5 seconds per turn. Take the torque reading on the fifth turn.
Standard turning torque - Torque: 1.0 Nm (10 kgf-cm, 8.9 in-lbf) or less
(e) Check the dust boots for cracks or grease leakage.
- If the value is not within the specified range, replace the stabilizer link with a new one.
