SUSPENSION: REAR STABILIZER BAR: INSTALLATION

INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL REAR STABILIZER BAR





(a) Install the 2 stabilizer bushes to the stabilizer bar.
HINT:
- Install the stabilizer bush to the outer side of the stopper ring on the stabilizer bar.
- Install the stabilizer bush with the protrusion facing towards the inside of the vehicle.





(b) Install the stabilizer bar and 2 No. 3 stabilizer bar brackets with the 2 bolts and 2 nuts.
Torque: 35 Nm (357 kgf-cm, 26 ft-lbf)






2. INSTALL REAR STABILIZER LINK ASSEMBLY LH
(a) Install the stabilizer link LH with the 2 nuts.
Torque: 44 Nm (49 kgf-cm, 32 ft-lbf)
HINT: If the ball joint turns together with the nut, use a 5 mm hexagon wrench to hold the stud.

3. INSTALL REAR STABILIZER LINK ASSEMBLY RH
HINT: Use the same procedures described for the LH side.

4. INSTALL REAR WHEEL ALIGNMENT
(a) Inspect and adjust the rear wheel alignment Rear Wheel Alignment.
