Introduction
When the DCC fuse is removed or the battery is disconnected, the "one-touch open and close" and "jam protection" functions of the power windows will be inoperative due to a loss of the door window position memory stored in the Body ECU.
Initialize each door's power window during Pre-Delivery Service (PDS) at the dealership.
NOTE:
Any time the battery terminal has been disconnected, the power windows MUST be re-initialized.

Initialization Procedure
Driver's Door Power Window Switch
With ignition switch in the "ON" position, do the following:
NOTE:
When the battery terminal has been disconnected, each door's power window switch blinks.
1. Push the driver's door power window switch down to open the window.
2. Pull up the driver's door power window switch until the window closes, and hold it for approximately one second until the switch changes from blinking to a constant illumination.
3. Check for proper operation of the "one-touch open and close" function by fully pushing the switch "DOWN" once and fully pulling the switch "UP" once.
Jam protection function for the driver's window becomes effective through the above initialization procedure.
Passenger's Door Power Window Switch
With ignition switch in the "ON" position, do the following:
1. Push the passenger's door power window switch down to open the window.
2. Pull up the passenger's door power window switch until the window closes, and hold it for approximately one second until the switch changes from blinking to a constant illumination.
3. Check for proper operation of the "one-touch open and close" function by fully pushing the switch "DOWN" once and fully pulling the switch "UP" once.
NOTE:
Jam protection function for the passenger's window becomes effective through the above initialization procedure.
