Introduction
When the DCC fuse has been removed or when the battery has been disconnected, the power moon roof "AUTO" opening functions and "jam protection" are rendered inoperative. Perform the following procedure to re-initialize the moon roof during Pre-Delivery Service (PDS).

NOTE:
Any time the battery terminal has been disconnected, the moon roof MUST be re-initialized.

Applicable Vehicles

^ 2008 model year Scion tC vehicles.

Initialization Procedure





1. Turn the ignition to the "ON" position.

2. Push the "OPEN" side of the moon roof switch to open the moon roof HALFWAY.

3. Push the "CLOSE" side of the moon roof switch and hold for 2 seconds after the motor stops.

4. Verify proper operation of "AUTO" mode.

NOTE:
Jam protection function is enabled through the above initialization procedure.
