2AZ-FE FUEL: FUEL PRESSURE PULSATION DAMPER: INSTALLATION

INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL FUEL PRESSURE PULSATION DAMPER ASSEMBLY






(a) Apply a light coat of the gasoline or spindle oil to the O-ring of the fuel pressure pulsation damper.






(b) Install the fuel pressure pulsation damper with the 2 bolts.
Torque: 9.0 Nm (90 kgf-cm, 80 in-lbf)
NOTE: Make sure that the O-ring is not cracked or jammed when installing.

2. INSTALL FUEL MAIN TUBE Installation

3. INSTALL AIR CLEANER CAP SUB-ASSEMBLY Installation

4. INSTALL ENGINE COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY Installation

5. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
6. INSPECT FOR FUEL LEAK
7. PERFORM INITIALIZATION
(a) Perform initialization Testing and Inspection.
NOTE: Certain systems need to be initialized after disconnecting and reconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
