AUDIO / VISUAL: AMPLIFIER ANTENNA: REMOVAL
REMOVAL
1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
CAUTION: Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to prevent airbag and seat belt pretensioner activation.
2. REMOVE TONNEAU COVER ASSEMBLY
3. REMOVE DECK BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY
4. REMOVE BACK DOOR SCUFF PLATE Removal
5. REMOVE DECK FLOOR BOX LH Removal
6. REMOVE DECK FLOOR BOX RH Removal
7. REMOVE ROPE HOOK
8. REMOVE REAR NO. 1 FLOOR BOARD Removal
9. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY Removal
10. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK ASSEMBLY RH Removal
11. REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH Removal
12. REMOVE NO. 1 LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM HOOK
13. REMOVE NO. 1 SIDE TRIM ASSEMBLY RH Removal
14. REMOVE NO. 2 LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM HOOK
15. REMOVE DECK TRIM SIDE PANEL ASSEMBLY RH Removal
16. REMOVE ROOF ANTENNA POLE SUB-ASSEMBLY
17. REMOVE ANTENNA NUT
(a) Using snap ring pliers, remove the antenna nut as shown in the illustration.
HINT: Wrap the tip of the snap ring pliers with protective tape to prevent damage to the parts.
18. REMOVE ANTENNA ORNAMENT
(a) Remove the antenna ornament.
19. REMOVE AMPLIFIER ANTENNA ASSEMBLY
(a) Disconnect the connector.
(b) Remove the nut.
(c) Remove the amplifier antenna in the direction shown by the arrow in the illustration.
