FLOOR SHIFT LEVER ASSEMBLY

COMPONENTS:

COMPONENTS:

REMOVAL
1. REMOVE SHIFT LEVER KNOB SUB-ASSEMBLY
2. REMOVE CONSOLE PANEL UPPER
3. REMOVE REAR CONSOLE PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY UPPER
4. REMOVE REAR CONSOLE BOX ASSEMBLY
5. DISCONNECT TRANSMISSION CONTROL CABLE ASSEMBLY





a. Remove the 2 clips, and disconnect the cable ends of the control.





b. Using a screwdriver, release the cable locks of the shift cable and select cable.





c. Turn the lock nuts 180° counterclockwise, and hold them in that position to remove the shift cable and select cable.

NOTICE: Do not push in the cable locks.





6. REMOVE FLOOR SHIFT SHIFT LEVER ASSEMBLY
a. Remove the 4 bolts and shift lever.

INSTALLATION





1. INSTALL FLOOR SHIFT SHIFT LEVER ASSEMBLY
a. Install the shift lever with the 4 bolts.
Torque: 12 Nm (122 kgf-cm, 9 ft. lbs.)

2. CONNECT TRANSMISSION CONTROL CABLE ASSEMBLY





a. Connect the ends of the control cable and install the 2 clips to the shift lever.





b. Turn the lock nuts of the shift cable 270° counterclockwise, and hold them in that position.
c. Install the shift cable and select cable while holding the lock nuts.
d. Check that the cables are installed securely.





e. Push in the cable locks of the shift cable and select cable.
3. INSTALL REAR CONSOLE BOX ASSEMBLY
4. INSTALL REAR CONSOLE PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY UPPER
5. INSTALL CONSOLE PANEL UPPER
6. INSTALL SHIFT LEVER KNOB SUB-ASSEMBLY
