Rear Seat Inner Belt

Rear Seat Inner Belt Assembly:

REMOVAL

1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

CAUTION: Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative battery terminal to prevent airbag and seat belt pretensioner activation.

2. REMOVE TONNEAU COVER ASSEMBLY
3. REMOVE DECK BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY
4. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY
5. REMOVE REAR SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY LH
a. Remove the bolt and inner belt.

6. REMOVE REAR SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY CENTER
a. Remove the bolt and anchor part of the outer belt assembly center.

7. REMOVE REAR SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY RH
a. Remove the bolt and inner belt.

8. REMOVE CHILD RESTRAINT SEAT TETHER ANCHOR COVER
9. REMOVE CHILD RESTRAINT SEAT TETHER ANCHOR BRACKET
a. Remove the 2 bolts and 2 rope hooks.
b. Remove the No. 1 deck board.
c. Remove the rear No. 1 floor board.
d. Remove the 3 bolts and 3 anchor brackets.

INSTALLATION

HINT: A bolt without a torque specification is shown in the standard bolt chart.

1. INSTALL CHILD RESTRAINT SEAT TETHER ANCHOR BRACKET
a. Install the 3 anchor brackets with the 3 bolts.
Torque:19.6 N.m (200 kgf.cm, 14 ft.lbf)

b. Install the rear No.1 floor board.
c. Install the No.1 deck board.
d. Install the 2 rope hooks with the 2 bolts.

2. INSTALL CHILD RESTRAINT SEAT TETHER ANCHOR COVER

3. INSTALL REAR SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY RH
a. Install the inner belt with the bolt.
Torque:42 N.m (428 kgf.cm, 31 ft.lbf)

NOTE: Do not allow the anchor part to overlap onto the protruding part of the floor panel.

4. INSTALL REAR SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY CENTER
a. Install the anchor part of the outer belt with the bolt.
Torque:42 N.m (428 kgf.cm, 31 ft.lbf)

NOTE: Do not allow the anchor part to overlap onto the protruding part of the inner belt RH.

5. INSTALL REAR SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY LH
a. Install the inner belt with the bolt.
Torque:42 N.m (428 kgf.cm, 31 ft.lbf)

NOTE: Do not allow the anchor part to overlap onto the protruding part of the floor panel.

6. INSTALL REAR SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY
7. INSTALL DECK BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY
8. INSTALL TONNEAU COVER ASSEMBLY
9. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
10. PERFORM INITIALIZATION
a. Perform initialization.

NOTE: Certain systems need to be initialized after disconnecting and reconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
