Turn Signal Lamp: Service and Repair

Side Turn Signal Light Assembly:

REMOVAL

HINT:
- Use the same procedures for the RH side and LH side.
- The procedures listed are for the LH side.

1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

CAUTION: Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to prevent airbag and seat belt pretensioner activation.

2. REMOVE OUTER REAR VIEW MIRROR ASSEMBLY LH




3. REMOVE SIDE TURN SIGNAL LIGHT LENS LH
a. Detach the 4 claws and remove the cover.




b. Remove the 2 screws.
c. Disconnect the connector and remove the side turn signal light lens LH.

INSTALLATION

HINT:
- Use the same procedures for the RH side and LH side.
- The procedures listed are for the LH side.

1. INSTALL SIDE TURN SIGNAL LIGHT LENS LH
a. Connect the connector and install the side turn signal light lens LH.




b. Install the 2 screws.




c. Attach the 4 claws and install the cover.

2. INSTALL OUTER REAR VIEW MIRROR ASSEMBLY LH
3. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
4. PERFORM INITIALIZATION
a. Perform initialization.

NOTE: Certain systems need to be initialized after disconnecting and reconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
