Removal and Replacement

Rear Combination Light Assembly:





REMOVAL

HINT:
- Use the same procedures for the RH side and LH side.
- The procedures listed are for the LH side.

1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

CAUTION: Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to prevent airbag and seat belt pretensioner activation.

2. REMOVE REAR BUMPER COVER




3. REMOVE REAR FLOOR SERVICE HOLE COVER
a. Detach the claw and remove the rear floor service hole cover.




4. REMOVE REAR COMBINATION LIGHT ASSEMBLY LH
a. Disconnect the connector.
b. Remove the 3 nuts.
c. Remove the pin, and then remove the rear combination light.

INSTALLATION

HINT:
- Use the same procedures for the RH side and LH side.
- The procedures listed are for the LH side.

1. INSTALL REAR COMBINATION LIGHT ASSEMBLY LH
a. Install the pin, and then install the rear combination light assembly LH.
b. Install the 3 nuts.
c. Connect the connector.

2. INSTALL REAR FLOOR SERVICE HOLE COVER
a. Install the rear floor service hole cover.

3. INSTALL REAR BUMPER COVER
4. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
5. PERFORM INITIALIZATION
a. Perform initialization.

NOTE: Certain systems need to be initialized after disconnecting and reconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
