UPPER INSTRUMENT PANEL

DISASSEMBLY

1. REMOVE NO. 1 HEATER TO REGISTER DUCT






a. Remove the 2 screws and No. 1 heater to register duct.

2. REMOVE NO. 4 HEATER TO REGISTER DUCT






a. Remove the 2 screws and No. 4 heater to register duct.

3. REMOVE DEFROSTER NOZZLE ASSEMBLY






a. Remove the 3 screws and the defroster nozzle assembly.

4. REMOVE NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL REGISTER ASSEMBLY






a. Detach the 4 claws, then remove the No. 1 instrument panel register assembly.

5. REMOVE NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL REGISTER ASSEMBLY

HINT: Use the same procedures for the No. 2 instrument panel register assembly and No. 1 instrument panel register assembly.

6. REMOVE FRONT PASSENGER AIRBAG ASSEMBLY
a. Remove the front passenger airbag.

7. REMOVE NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL CUSHION
8. REMOVE NO. 2 FRONT PANEL SIDE SILENCER

REASSEMBLY

1. INSTALL NO. 2 FRONT PANEL SIDE SILENCER
2. INSTALL NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL CUSHION
3. INSTALL FRONT PASSENGER AIRBAG ASSEMBLY
a. Install the front passenger airbag.

4. INSTALL NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL REGISTER ASSEMBLY






a. Attach the 4 claws to install the No. 2 instrument panel register.

5. INSTALL NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL REGISTER ASSEMBLY

HINT: Use the same procedures for the No. 2 instrument panel register and No. 1 instrument panel register.

6. INSTALL DEFROSTER NOZZLE ASSEMBLY






a. Install the defroster nozzle with the 3 screws.

7. INSTALL NO. 4 HEATER TO REGISTER DUCT






a. Install the No. 4 heater to register duct with the 2 screws.

8. INSTALL NO. 1 HEATER TO REGISTER DUCT






a. Install the No. 1 heater to register duct with the 2 screws.
