REAR CONSOLE BOX

DISASSEMBLY

1. REMOVE CONSOLE COMPARTMENT DOOR SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/ Sliding Roof)






a. Remove the 2 screws.






b. Remove the console compartment door sub-assembly as shown in the illustration.

2. REMOVE CONSOLE COMPARTMENT DOOR SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/ Roof Window Glass)






a. Remove the 2 screws.






b. Remove the console compartment door sub-assembly as shown in the illustration.

3. REMOVE CONSOLE COMPARTMENT DOOR HINGE SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/ Sliding Roof)






a. Remove the 2 screws and the console compartment door hinge sub-assembly.

4. REMOVE CONSOLE COMPARTMENT DOOR HINGE SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/ Roof Window Glass)






a. Remove the 2 screws and the console compartment door hinge sub-assembly.

5. REMOVE BOX BOTTOM MAT (w/ Sliding Roof)






a. Remove the box bottom mat.

6. REMOVE OUTER CONSOLE COMPARTMENT DOOR (w/ Sliding Roof)






a. Remove the 2 screws and outer console compartment door.

7. REMOVE NO. 1 CONSOLE COMPARTMENT DOOR STOPPER (w/ Sliding Roof)






a. Disengage the claw and remove the No. 1 console compartment door stopper.

8. REMOVE NO. 2 CONSOLE COMPARTMENT DOOR STOPPER (w/ Sliding Roof)






a. Disengage the claw and remove the No. 2 console compartment door stopper.

9. REMOVE INNER CONSOLE COMPARTMENT DOOR (w/ Sliding Roof)






a. Remove the 4 screws and inner console compartment door.

10. REMOVE CONSOLE COMPARTMENT DOOR LOCK PIN (w/ Sliding Roof)
11. REMOVE CONSOLE COMPARTMENT DOOR LOCK BASE (w/ Sliding Roof)
12. REMOVE CONSOLE COMPARTMENT DOOR LOCK SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/ Sliding Roof)






a. Remove the 2 screws and remove the console compartment door lock sub-assembly.

13. REMOVE CONSOLE COMPARTMENT DOOR LOCK SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/ Roof Window Glass)






a. Remove the 2 screws and remove the console compartment door lock sub-assembly.

14. REMOVE CONSOLE COMPARTMENT DOOR CUSHION (w/ Roof Window Glass)






a. Remove the 2 console compartment door cushions.

15. REMOVE SPARE SWITCH HOLE COVER






a. Disengage the 2 claws and remove the spare switch hole cover.

16. REMOVE CONSOLE BOX WIRE






a. Disconnect the connector and remove the console box wire.

17. REMOVE STEREO JACK ADAPTER ASSEMBLY






a. Remove the 2 claws and stereo jack adapter assembly.

18. REMOVE POWER POINT SOCKET ASSEMBLY (w/ Sliding Roof)
19. REMOVE POWER OUTLET SOCKET COVER (w/ Sliding Roof)
a. Disengage the 2 claws and remove the power outlet socket cover.

REASSEMBLY

1. INSTALL POWER OUTLET SOCKET COVER (w/ Sliding Roof)
a. Engage the 2 claws and install the power outlet socket cover.

2. INSTALL POWER POINT SOCKET ASSEMBLY (w/ Sliding Roof)
3. INSTALL STEREO JACK ADAPTER ASSEMBLY






a. Engage the 2 claws and install the stereo jack adapter assembly.

4. INSTALL CONSOLE BOX WIRE






a. Connect the connector and install the console box wire.

5. INSTALL SPARE SWITCH HOLE COVER






a. Engage the 2 claws and install the spare switch hole cover.

6. INSTALL CONSOLE COMPARTMENT DOOR CUSHION (w/ Roof Window Glass)






a. Peel off the release paper from console compartment door cushion.
b. Install 2 new console compartment door cushions.

7. INSTALL CONSOLE COMPARTMENT DOOR LOCK SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/ Sliding Roof)






a. Install the console compartment door lock sub-assembly with the 2 screws.

8. INSTALL CONSOLE COMPARTMENT DOOR LOCK SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/ Roof Window Glass)






a. Install the console compartment door lock sub-assembly with the 2 screws.

9. INSTALL CONSOLE COMPARTMENT DOOR LOCK BASE (w/ Sliding Roof)
10. INSTALL CONSOLE COMPARTMENT DOOR LOCK PIN (w/ Sliding Roof)
11. INSTALL INNER CONSOLE COMPARTMENT DOOR (w/ Sliding Roof)






a. Install the inner console compartment door with the 4 screws.

12. INSTALL NO. 2 CONSOLE COMPARTMENT DOOR STOPPER (w/ Sliding Roof)






a. Engage the claw and install the No. 2 console compartment door stopper.

13. INSTALL NO. 1 CONSOLE COMPARTMENT DOOR STOPPER (w/ Sliding Roof)






a. Engage the claw and install the No. 1 console compartment door stopper.

14. INSTALL OUTER CONSOLE COMPARTMENT DOOR (w/ Sliding Roof)






a. Install the outer console compartment door with the 2 screws.

15. INSTALL BOX BOTTOM MAT (w/ Sliding Roof)






a. Install the box bottom mat.

16. INSTALL CONSOLE COMPARTMENT DOOR HINGE SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/ Sliding Roof)






a. Install the console compartment door hinge sub-assembly with the 2 screws.

NOTICE: Make sure that the stopper is positioned as shown in the illustration.

17. INSTALL CONSOLE COMPARTMENT DOOR HINGE SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/ Roof Window Glass)






a. Install the console compartment door hinge sub-assembly with the 2 screws.

NOTICE: Make sure that the stopper is positioned as shown in the illustration.

18. INSTALL CONSOLE COMPARTMENT DOOR SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/ Sliding Roof)






a. Insert the pins on the console compartment door into the guide holes on the console box to temporarily install the console compartment door.






b. Install the console compartment door sub-assembly with the 2 screws.

19. INSTALL CONSOLE COMPARTMENT DOOR SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/ Roof Window Glass)






a. Insert the pins on the console compartment door into the guide holes on the console box to temporarily install the console compartment door.






b. Install the console compartment door sub-assembly with the 2 screws.
