REAR SPEAKER
REMOVAL
HINT:
- Use the same procedures for the RH side and LH side.
- The procedures listed below are for the LH side.
1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
CAUTION: Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to prevent airbag and seat belt pretensioner activation.
2. REMOVE TONNEAU COVER ASSEMBLY
3. REMOVE BACK DOOR SCUFF PLATE
4. REMOVE DECK FLOOR BOX LH
5. REMOVE DECK FLOOR BOX RH
6. REMOVE ROPE HOOK ASSEMBLY
7. REMOVE NO. 1 REAR FLOOR BOARD
8. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY.
9. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK ASSEMBLY LH
10. REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH
11. REMOVE LUGGAGE NO. 1 COMPARTMENT TRIM HOOK
12. REMOVE SIDE NO. 1 TRIM ASSEMBLY LH
13. REMOVE REAR SPEAKER ASSEMBLY LH
a. Disconnect the connector.
b. Remove the 3 screws and rear speaker.
INSTALLATION
HINT:
- Use the same procedures for the RH side and LH side.
- The procedures listed below are for the LH side.
1. INSTALL REAR SPEAKER ASSEMBLY LH
a. Install the rear speaker with the 3 screws.
b. Connect the connector.
2. INSTALL SIDE NO. 1 TRIM ASSEMBLY LH
3. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM HOOK NO.1
4. INSTALL FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH
5. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK ASSEMBLY LH
6. INSTALL REAR SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY
7. INSTALL NO. 1 REAR FLOOR BOARD
8. INSTALL ROPE HOOK ASSEMBLY
9. INSTALL DECK FLOOR BOX RH
10. INSTALL DECK FLOOR BOX LH
11. INSTALL BACK DOOR SCUFF PLATE
12. INSTALL DECK BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY
13. INSTALL TONNEAU COVER ASSEMBLY
14. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
15. PERFORM INITIALIZATION
a. Perform initialization.
NOTE: Certain systems need to be initialized after disconnecting and reconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
