Lighting and Horns: Service Precautions

LIGHTING SYSTEM

PRECAUTION

1. PRECAUTION OF HEADLIGHT BULB REPLACEMENT
a. If the surface halogen light (headlight) is coated with oil, light service life is shortened because of the heat generated when the light is on.
b. Since the internal pressure of the halogen light bulb (headlight) is high, handle carefully. It may explode if dropped.
c. Try not to handle the lens too much when changing the light because it could result in a dirty or moist lens. Always have the replacement bulb prepared before starting the installation.
d. Always replace the bulb with one of the same wattage.
e. In order to avoid a cloudy lens or leakage, firmly reinstall the socket after bulb replacement.
