REAR WIPER MOTOR

ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION




1. CHECK REAR WIPER MOTOR ASSEMBLY
a. Check the automatic stop position operation.
1. Connect the battery's positive (+) lead to terminal 1 (B) and the negative (-) lead to terminal 2 (-1).

NOTE: The body earth should be connected.

2. With the motor being rotated, disconnect terminal 1 (B) and terminal 2 (-1) to stop the motor operation at any position other than the automatic stop position.
3. Connect the battery's positive (+) lead to terminal 1. Check that the motor stops automatically at the automatic stop position.

OK: Refer to illustration.

If the result is not as specified, replace the motor assembly.
