Removal and Installation

REMOVAL

1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

CAUTION: Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to prevent airbag and seat belt pretensioner activation.

2. REMOVE NO. 2 INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL GARNISH
3. REMOVE NO. 1 INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL GARNISH




4. REMOVE HEATER CONTROL KNOB
a. Remove the 3 heater control knobs.




5. REMOVE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL ASSEMBLY CENTER
a. Remove the 4 screws.
b. Detach the 4 clips and claw, and then remove the instrument cluster finish panel.
c. Disconnect the connectors.




6. REMOVE CENTER CLUSTER MODULE SWITCH
a. Remove the 2 screws.
b. Detach the 3 claws and remove the center cluster module switch.

INSTALLATION




1. INSTALL CENTER CLUSTER MODULE SWITCH
a. Attach the 3 claws to install the center cluster module switch.
b. Install the 2 screws.




2. INSTALL INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL ASSEMBLY CENTER
a. Connect the connectors.
b. Attach the 4 clips and claw to install the instrument cluster finish panel.
c. Install the 4 screws.




3. INSTALL HEATER CONTROL KNOB
a. Install the 3 heater control knobs.

4. INSTALL NO. 1 INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL GARNISH
5. INSTALL NO. 2 INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL GARNISH
6. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

7. PERFORM INITIALIZATION
a. Perform initialization.

NOTE: Certain systems need to be initialized after disconnecting and reconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
