Initial Inspection and Diagnostic Overview

INSPECT WATER TEMPERATURE RECEIVER GAUGE

a. Disconnect the connector from the water temperature receiver gauge.
b. Turn the ignition switch ON, and then check the water temperature receiver gauge warning light.

OK: COLD indicator light comes on.

c. Ground terminal 2 on the wire harness side, then check the water temperature receiver gauge warning light.

OK: HOT indicator light comes on / blinks.
